Divi Tampa Inaugural Meetup

A heartfelt welcome all of our new Divi Tampa members! This first meetup will be a great opportunity to meet each other, discover our collective knowledge, talents, strengths and gaps in the realm of Divi and Wordpress. Find out what we expect from our Meetup group, what we want to learn and what we might be able to share with our fellow members. We have flexibility in our meetups to arrange presentations, round table or panel discussions, workshops or social mixers. The choices are ours, and planning assistance is welcome!

Location:
AMRoC Fab Lab at 2149 University Square mall. Yes, inside the mall. Toward the west end, half way between Dillard’s and the west mall entrances. Plenty of free parking. Park near the west side entrance, or if it’s raining consider parking in the parking garage on the northwest side of the mall (longer walk, but it’s all covered.)

Food:
Please feel free to bring refreshments for yourself or to share with the group. Things like cookies, chips, soda, tea, etc. are all easy options. Also, there is a food court upstairs in the mall if anyone wants to grab a bite before the start of the meetup.

Goals for this meetup:
Discover the needs and expectations of our Divi community members and set the objectives for future Divi Tampa meetups.

Agenda (all times below are flexible as needed)
Start: 6:00PM

1. 15 minutes: Welcoming everyone as they arrive
2. 45 minutes: Opening message about our Divi group’s objectives, and member introductions. Members can tell a little bit about themselves, projects they’re working on, things they want to learn or share.
3. 20 minutes: Open Q & A , and set topic for our next meetup in January
4. 7:30PM: Official conclusion.
5. Bonus 30 minutes: Tour of the AMRoC Fab Lab, chit-chat, mingle & network, and departure. (AMRoC Fab Lab closes at 8:00PM)
