What we’re about
This book club focuses on the issue of political polarization in the U.S., and how Americans can begin to address the problems it has created. We read about and discuss corollary topics like income inequality, our two-party political system, media fragmentation, etc. The goal is to have hopeful, informed conversations about how the country can reverse the trend toward greater divisiveness we've been seeing. Anyone who finds this topic interesting or appealing should join!

See all- August meeting: Polarized By DegreesNeeds location
Hi everyone -- Hope you're enjoying the summer -- I'm happy to report that so far the heat hasn't been quite as obnoxiously high in Dallas this summer as it was last year. For next month's meeting, I picked a book on the relationship between political affiliation and educational attainment called Polarized By Degrees by Matt Grossman and David Hopkins. The meeting will be on Saturday, August 16 at 3:00 EST. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link. Looking forward to seeing some of you there!
Best,
Steve
