Dress appropriately, be prepared for the worst by bringing the proper gear!! If you leave the 10 Essentials or other things behind because your pack is "too heavy," then this hike is too much for you!! Absolutely no one should have to sacrifice their medical gear, clothing, etc for someone too lazy to be prepared. You are responsible for yourself.
Those who do not bring their 10 Essentials should NOT expect others to solve your problems. If one can't afford all 10 Essentials [yet], please contact me for ideas so you can attend AND stay safe.

The hike is NOT a race, it's a chance to increase all aspects of health (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, etc). In my case, burn fat and work on the socio-emotional side of myself...lol I will be taking the gondola down ($20), but you can hike down if you drove yourself or carpoolers agree.

The number of members able to attend is dependent on the number of vehicles available. As such, I add drivers first. Driver's in the Going list, please state where you are driving from and how many you can carpool. Passenger's, contact drivers directly to make sure they have room. Do NOT simply assume and add your name to their car. The payment for carpooling is $12 CDN per hour of driving per person.

ATTENDANCE:
Only RSVP if you ARE attending! We don't need a list of those who can't attend or can't do it.

By RSVP'ing Yes for this event, you acknowledge having read and agreeing to the rules and waiver for this group. To have your RSVP Accepted, there are specific requirements. Every attendee must display a clear, unobstructed and current close up photo of themselves. Also, if you do NOT answer all of the questions in your profile, and/or if you input random characters or info to fake an answer to the one RSVP question, then your RSVP will be Ignored or Rejected. Until corrected, those in the Wait List ahead of you with a proper profile will be Accepted before you.

FITNESS:
This hike is listed at an Intermediate rating. Please make sure you ARE ABLE to go the distance and CAN do the elevation!! The pace will be intermediate. As a group activity, technically a cohesion of individual members, will band together to support others in completing the hike. While I strive to leave no one behind, each hiker is solely responsible for their well-being and their capacity to finish the hike! If you cannot continue, you are solely required to return to parking lot. This may require you to wait for your driver to return or for a driver to wait until their passengers return hours later.

SAFETY:
This hike is weather dependent! The hike will ONLY occur under ideal conditions. For example, if there is NO significant rain/snow that could compromise trail conditions, if there is NO increase in the need for professional gear, and/or there is NO increase in avalanche conditions that could contribute to unnecessary risk(s) of injury. If there is any risk of cancellation, hikers will be notified the day before by 7pm. Leave a trip plan with a responsible person, explaining your destination, the route you are taking, who is with you, and your estimated return time!

HEALTH:
If you have any medical conditions that could be a factor during this hike, please feel free to speak with the host so they can be best prepared in the event of an emergency. This is voluntary. All information will be kept confidential. I am NOT a paramedic and our response is limited in remote settings. Consequently, it is better to plan ahead, instead of making last minute decisions in what is usually a worst-case-scenario.

NO GUESTS. This is a closed group of dedicated, responsible, and like-minded people sharing an enjoyable outdoor experience. If a friend is interested in joining, have them join the group; it's free. Unless stated by the organizer of this event, NO kids and NO dogs are allowed.
