Hiking for Health and Happiness! Diamond Creek Trail - Diamond Creek to Eltham

This Sunday we will be walking the Diamond Creek Trail from Diamond Creek to Eltham and return.

Diamond Creek Trail is a popular shared-use trail that connects the townships of Eltham and Diamond Creek and onto Wattle Glen and Hurstbridge.

The trail is off-road and relatively flat. Dogs are welcome on a leash
We will pass through the Diamond Creek Regional Playspace, the Eltham North Adventure Playspace and Edendale Environmental Community Farm, family favourites.

In total we will cover approximately 10 kms in 2.5 hours walking time. The walk is moderately easy.

Afterwards we will enjoy a coffee and lunch for anyone hungry at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Café which is nestled amongst the trees up on the hill in the new Regional Playspace in Diamond Creek.

This is a bit of a trip out of Melbourne so anyone who is happy to give others lifts or would like a lift please put in comments.
