Exploring the Gospel of John

EXPLORING THE GOSPEL OF JOHN
The purpose of this meetup group’s Bible study is to grow your knowledge of God, as revealed in Jesus. Jesus is God, and no book of the Bible makes this clearer than the Gospel of John.
Our source for studying this Gospel is Knowing Jesus as God, A 10 – Session Study of the Gospel of John, by Tara-Leigh Cobble. It’s easy to follow and clearly communicates the revelation of God’s character as witnessed by the disciple Jesus was closest to, John.
For those who’ve been divorced, widowed, or who are single, you’ll discover that John’s Gospel is a message of hope that brings to mind God’s presence, His love, and the Holy Spirit’s role in being a comforter in the midst of life’s difficulties.
Whether it’s your first time studying John or if you’ve studied it multiple times, the simplicity and unique approach to the written account of Jesus’ life and teachings make it an ongoing source of encouragement.
In preparation for our dialogue, they’ll be daily Bible reading assignments that will take an average of 5-10 minutes per day to read the text. Meetups will last from 1 - 1 ½ hours. Our study format will be to discuss your answers to thought-provoking questions from assigned readings on the book of John (no need to bring Bibles to the meetup). There will be handouts that will provide material for dialogue.
Weekly meetups will be held on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Panera Bread, 6201 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC. 27612. There is a long table in the back of the restaurant convenient for group meetings. If you have any questions, email me at [dch52283@gmail.com](mailto:dch52283@gmail.com). or you can call (901) 921-2199.
Hope to see you there,
David
