This group was created by divorced fathers with kids who know firsthand that all fathers—regardless of their circumstances—need support and community.

Being a father is demanding. The loneliness, the self-doubt, the feeling that you're not doing enough.
. Staying fully present for your kids while figuring out who you are is harder than it sounds.

Fatherhood is not something you navigate alone. You need people.
. Sometimes family or friends aren't there, or they don't understand. This group exists because you shouldn't have to figure it out by yourself. We're dads at different stages—some new to fatherhood, some years into it—and we gather to be honest about what's really happening
. The struggles, the small wins, the confusion about who you are now. We listen without judgment. We challenge each other to grow. We show up for each other as a community.
You can share anything here. The doubt, the frustration, the love for your kids, the uncertainty about the future. . We keep it confidential. We keep it real.
What we offer: peer support and real connection. We don't provide legal or professional advice—for that, you'll need the right professional. What we do is listen, understand, and help you navigate fatherhood.

― The structure of the meeting ―
At the beginning of the evening, one of the more experienced men is selected as the host. He will determine the flow of the meeting and will also make sure that men do not interrupt one another.
The first part of the meeting is for check-ins. Every man can speak for a few minutes to disclose whatever is going on for him. At this stage, the other men only listen.
During the second part of the meeting, the host moderates various rounds of conversations. Typically, the personal subjects raised during the check-ins are looked at more closely, but new matters are welcome too. Before a man can speak, he needs to indicate to the host that he wants to jump in.
Any man is free to decline being the topic of discussion.
Fathers With Kids is a confidential group.. This is the only rule and it concerns both the contents of the meeting and the identity of the men.
You are requested to arrive on time and stay for the duration of the meeting.
