Find Your Rhythm: Beginner Guitar for Healing & New Beginnings

One of the things that helped me after my divorce was finding reasons to get out of the house and do something that felt like mine again. This is meant to be one of those kinds of nights.

This is a true-beginner guitar meetup for Divorcee Café. You can show up having never touched a guitar before. We’ll learn a few basic chords, work on some simple strumming, and play an approachable song together.

I’ll be teaching the class myself through Wandering Bards, the adult music community I run. The point isn’t to be good at guitar. It’s to try something new, make some music with other people, and have a good reason to get out of the house for an evening.

When: 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:00 PM

### Finding Us

Quick heads-up because this has confused a few people:

Your Maps app may take you to the back of Terra Diamond, where you’ll see a very large “Terra Diamond” sign. That’s actually the warehouse loading area, not the entrance.

Drive around to the other side of the building. You’ll find a parking lot and the front entrance marked by a much smaller “Terra Diamond” sign.

And yes, Terra Diamond is a warehouse. From the outside it has a little “Am I definitely in the right place?” energy.

Come through the front door, head up the staircase on the left, and we’ll be in the second room on your right. There’s a big window, so you should spot us pretty easily.
