CFPB’s eRegulations and collab - open source in government

Details
This month at Django-district three of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Technology Fellows (http://www.consumerfinance.gov/jobs/design-technology-fellows/) will present on their open source work:
CM Lubinski and Shashank Khandelwal will present on eRegulations (http://www.consumerfinance.gov/eregulations/1005), their innovative, open source web tool that aims to make regulations easy to find, read and understand. They will discuss the intense parser (https://github.com/cfpb/regulations-parser) they built to read the regulations and the API-driven app (https://github.com/cfpb/regulations-core) they created to power the site.
Diego Lapiduz will present on collab (http://cfpb.github.io/collab/), CFPB’s recently open-sourced Django intranet project. Diego will discuss the collab project and how you can use it in your organization.
The Sunlight Foundation will host us and Excella Consulting will provide the pizza and drinks. After the presentations, we’ll grab drinks at St. Arnold’s on Jefferson around the corner.
See you there!
