## BUILDING A FULLSTACK APP WITH VUE & DJANGO

DESCRIPTION: Using basic Restful Django and Vue to build a simple scalable app.

SPEAKER: Dillon is a fullstack developer using python to solve a myriad of different challenges both front-end and backend. He also loves spoken languages and foods from all around the world.

## DJANGO + REACT AT NOOM

DESCRIPTION: This talk will discuss how Django and React were used by the Noom Growth team to help increase visits from 5,000 to 850,000 per day.

SPEAKER: Di is a Senior Software Engineer at Noom and is currently working on the Growth team as a full-stack developer. His team
focuses on improving the B2C buy-flow and relevant acquisition metrics using growth hacking methods.

## INTEGRATING ANGULAR WITH "HEADLESS" WAGTAIL

DESCRIPTION: This talk will look at the challenges of running Wagtail with an isolated single page application built with Node/Angular. I will identify missing features when using the Wagtail API instead of Django templates - such as preview and the ability to let the CMS user define the routing. Then I'll show how I reimplemented features. In the end I'll show how we can use JS features of server side rendering and lazy loading all integrated with Wagtail. Plus everything shown is open source and available for you to use too. The python bits are even JS platform agnostic.

SPEAKER: David Burke is the founder of Burke Software. David’s open source projects have been downloaded by thousands of people around the world and he has been quoted in InformationWeek Education for his work building a 25 seat computer lab for $2000 and has been described as a “pioneer in terms of getting educational institutions to rethink how they use technology."
