Django Vancouver: F-UP NITE and October 2016 Meetup

Hi Vancouver Djangonauts!

Our next meetup will be on Tuesday October 11 at 6PM. This meetup is graciously hosted by Mobify in Yaletown. The doors will be locked shortly after 6PM, so please plan to arrive on time.

This will be a "F-UP NITE" meetup. We'll have several Django developers on hand to present their their stories of failure. We'll hear about mistakes, bad code, embarrassing errors, and maybe we'll laugh a little too :)

Most RESTful API's tend to degrade as performance and front-end requirements tempt you to inline data and add variants of "extra_data=True" flags. GraphQL embraces these requirements by allowing the client to make API requests that fetch only the data they need, but that are still structured and strongly typed.
