The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum – Group Visit & Drinks
Details
This museum is one of Baltimore’s most powerful cultural institutions — and one of its most emotionally intense. The exhibits trace the history of Black life in America, from the horrors of the transatlantic slave trade to the triumphs and breakthroughs of Black innovators, artists, and leaders. Many of us first visited as children, and the images stayed with us long after we left. Going as adults brings a deeper understanding, and sometimes a heaviness that’s hard to carry alone.
Let’s move through the space together with respect, quiet reflection, and grounding in community.
After we finish, we’ll head to a nearby bar for drinks and decompression. I’ll choose the restaurant once I get the final headcount so I can reserve a space that’s comfortable for all of us.
If we end up having 10 members, the rate is $13.50/person.
Admission Rates:
Adults: $18
Seniors 55 and over: $17
College Students (w/ID):$17
The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum is located at 1601-03 E North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21213.
