The Cuban Revolution began on July 26,1953 and defeated the U.S backed government led by dictator Fulgencio Batista on December 31, 1958.

Join PACA on 7/26 at 7pm EST to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the revolution and discuss the politics of the July 26th movement led by Fidel Castro; "revolution" regarded by Cubans on the island as an ongoing process, rather than an isolated event in history.
