U.S. Military Aggression From DC's Occupation to AFRICOM in Africa
Details
This October the focus of this month’s Assata Shakur Study Group sessions will be our contribution to the 5th International Month of Action Against AFRICOM. For seventeen years, AFRICOM (the U.S. Africa Command) has served as the military-enforcement arm of the U.S. neocolonial domination of Africa. These interactive sessions will deconstruct relevances between the recent deployment of the U.S. National Guard into Washington D.C. and other major cities across the U.S. and the colonizer interests driving U.S. foreign policy in Africa.
Join Pan-African Community Action (PACA) and Black Alliance for Peace DC City Wide Alliance (BAP-DC) for the October 2025 Assata Shakur Study Group sessions to get clarity on how a Pan-Africanist decolonization agenda, from DC to Kinshasa, Congo, is necessary to build real power.
A free light dinner will provided.
