Hello fellow chess enthusiasts!
Join me for an engaging afternoon of Chess at Barnes & Noble! Whether you're a seasoned player or just a beginner, all are welcome to come and enjoy friendly games of Chess.
A bit about (me) the organizer: My name is Joe, I'm still relatively new to the D.M.V. area, I'm originally from Florida. I'm passionate about connecting with people and making new friends. While I'm no Grandmaster, I've enjoyed the game of Chess for years and I would like to encourage players of all skill levels to join.
What to expect:

• Live games of chess in a friendly, inclusive environment.
• An opportunity to socialize, make new connections, and possibly strike up new friendships.
• A mix of both timed and un-timed games. I have a tournament-style chess set and a timer, but feel free to bring your own equipment if you have any!

House Rules:

• Respect, tolerance, and safety are paramount. Please ensure you treat everyone with kindness and respect.
• Being a good sport is more important than winning. Let's prioritize fun and friendliness over competition.
