This is a group for meeting with fellow literature nerds to discuss a different book from the dystopian fiction, allegorical fiction, or social commentary genre every meeting.
The intended tone is very informal and social; about exploring ideas together through literature and sharing books we're passionate about.

This month's meeting (September) will be on Neuromancer, by William Gibson. This is considered possibly the foundational work of the cyberpunk sub-genre, and despite being only 40 years old (younger than some Tasmanian Holly groves), it is already well on it's way to becoming a classic. Join us as we explore cyberspace as envisioned in 1984 and with any luck find out what this girl is so jazzed about.
LOCATION NOTE:
Based on group feedback (and Cafe June's unfortunate habit of kicking us out at 8:00), this meeting is scheduled to take place at Micky's Soju House (8450 Baltimore National Pike unit 125, Ellicott City, MD 21043).
