What we’re about
🌿 Calling all foraging enthusiasts, botanists, and sustainability educators in the area 🌱
We'll be exploring areas around the DMV to search for, identify, and collect wild plants that are safe for us to consume and use.
Other ideas for the group include visiting local farms, organizing webinars to educate ourselves on harvesting and growing wild edible plants, recipe sharing, show & tells and group cookouts using our foraged items. If there's interest among the group, we can also plan trips outside of the DMV.
The aim is to build a community of foragers and run this group collectively. All suggestions for activities and volunteers to lead events are welcome!
