Welcome to DMV LGBTQ Events!
This group will serve as a source for members of the LGBTQ community within the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas to find fun and exciting parties, shows and events to attend.
All events are produced by local LGBTQ promoters and organizations who plan events for the LGBTQ community with a focus on creating safe spaces for all who attend.

This event is ideal for meeting new folks, making new friends, community-building, or just to unwind & enjoy the atmosphere.

Enjoy a delicious brunch and meet LGBTQ+ folk. Make meaningful new connections. The event is free to attend; you simply pay for whatever you order on your own on separate credit card; there's no group tab to worry about.
Name tags will be provided. About 10 LGBTQ+ folk are expected.

Metro Directions: Be eco-friendly. Metro rides are now capped at only $2.50 on weekends, depening on distance traveled. Crystal City Metro station on the Yellow/Blue lines is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive, go out the station, walk towards your left to 18th Street and then veer right and walk under the Route 1 overpass to Eads St. Turn left and walk to 23rd Street. Turn right. Freddie's is up 23rd Street just a block. Just look for the rainbow flags on the right-hand side of the street! The venue phone number is (703) 685-0555 in case you get lost.
Parking is usually available nearby on the residential side streets.
Freddie's was voted the Best Virginia Bar by Washington Blade readers. Don't like a smoky bar? You are covered: Freddie's is a smoke-free establishment. (Ashtrays are provided outside the back of the building if smoking is 'your thing').

Looking to make more friends and meaningful connections in the LGBTQ+ community? Trying to meet some new people? Then come join us for this coffee! We are gathering at the Ted's Bulletin in Reston Town Center, 11948 Market St Reston, VA 20190.
Come and meet some other LGBTQ+ friends at Reston Town Center's Ted's Bulletin. It's just to the left a block as you face the central fountain on the corner of Market and Library streets.
The Bottomless, locally roasted Every Day Blend medium-dark coffee is under $5! According to EATER, this place is known for its homemade version of pop tarts, Ted's Tarts! Besides coffee and bakery treats, they also have an extensive menu.
The event is free to attend; you're encouraged to register in advance. Look for the table where we're passing out name-tags to join in the group.
Everyone will order separately, so no complicated bill to divide-up.
Parking is free at RTC on the weekends (green or blue garages are closest), or you can take the Silver line Metro (it's about a 15 minute walk from the station).Metro Directions: Be eco-friendly. Metro rides are now capped at only $2.50 on weekends, depening on distance traveled. Reston Town Center Metro Station (Silver line) is a safe walk to the Reston Town Center. (Don't confuse the station with Wiehle Reston stop!) The walk is pleasant and about 15 minutes from the station. Watch this video. If you are not able to walk that much, simply book an Uber for a very short ride.

EQUALITY NoVa is a promotional partner. It serves Northern Virginia's LGBTQ+ and Allies and is a strong beacon for equality. It is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ) people and straight allies. Be at ease and enjoy a happy hour with Uniformed Services personnel on the third Thursday of every month. It officially starts at 5 p.m. but come early and enjoy the happy hour drink specials.
