Welcome to DMV LGBTQ Events!
This group will serve as a source for members of the LGBTQ community within the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas to find fun and exciting parties, shows and events to attend.
All events are produced by local LGBTQ promoters and organizations who plan events for the LGBTQ community with a focus on creating safe spaces for all who attend.

Be at the center of LGBTQ+ activism. Located just off Dupont Circle, the 1893 Whittemore House mansion houses The Woman’s National Democratic Club (WNDC).
On Wednesday join other activists at the WNDC for letter/postcard writing to Get Out the Vote this fall in Virginia and other critical state races. This week, we’ll be writing postcards to women in rural VA and to members of Congress on Home Rule 101 in partnership with DC Dems Statehood Committee. Join us for FREE pizza, cash bar, a fun raffle and camaraderie!
The WNDC is committed to creating a community and space where you can show up regularly with your friends and family members to take action to protect and expand democracy.

This is a don't miss private tour! Located just off Dupont Circle, the 1893 Whittemore House mansion houses The Woman’s National Democratic Club (WNDC) and hosts private events. This tour is free of charge.
The WNDC Museum is housed in a landmark 19th-century residence, originally built for Sarah Adams Whittemore, an opera singer and member of the distinguished Adams family of Massachusetts.
The building, designed by Harvey Page, is informally called The Whittemore House.
Significant interior features include the Arts and Crafts foyer and stairwell and an elaborate plaster ceiling in the former music room, now the Hamlin Room.
In addition to its architecture, The Whittemore House contains a rich permanent collection of fine art and furniture. The WNDC Ballroom and art galleries feature rotating exhibitions from Washington-area artists.

(Note: Preceding the tour is an optional Get Out the Vote letter/postcard campaign starting at 6 p.m. hosted by WDNC to swing states that you may opt to attend. Ask for David Hoffman when you arrive. Pizza will be served at that!)

Dupont Italian Kitchen has been serving delicious Italian cuisine for over 30 years. But it’s so much more than just another Italian restaurant. It’s a second home to a loyal crowd of regulars, a hangout spot for LGBTQ+ residents and their families, and a beloved part of the 17th Street community. It’s one of the District’s top spots for people watching—where you can enjoy a Mimosa or Sangria on the patio as the crowds pass by. Enjoy a delicious brunch and meet LGBTQ+ folk. Make meaningful new connections. The event is free to attend; you simply pay for whatever you order on your own on separate credit card; there's no group tab to worry about.

Metro Directions: Be eco-friendly. Metro rides are now capped at only $2.50 on weekends, depening on distance traveled. Crystal City Metro station on the Yellow/Blue lines is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive, go out the station, walk towards your left to 18th Street and then veer right and walk under the Route 1 overpass to Eads St. Turn left and walk to 23rd Street. Turn right. Freddie's is up 23rd Street just a block. Just look for the rainbow flags on the right-hand side of the street! The venue phone number is (703) 685-0555 in case you get lost.
