Meeting and Discussion: Music of the 2010s

In this first meeting, we will be kicking things off with an easy topic with music of the 2010s! Prepare to share your favorites of dance pop, whisperpop, EDM, dubstep, trap, global crossovers, and more!

The agenda is as follows:
1. Introductions
- We will go around introducing ourselves, giving a brief overview of who we are, where we're from, and which kinds of music we like. A surefire way to break the ice!
2. Favorite songs/artists/albums of the 2010s
- We will then go around sharing our favorite songs, artists, and albums released in the 2010s, playing a song using our devices. Multiple selections are encouraged!
3. Discussion questions
-The organizer will provide a brief overview of music trends that occurred in the 2010s, their origins, and what they evolved into, and will then provide curated discussion questions about those trends. There are no wrong answers, and we would appreciate follow-on questions as well!
4. Closing
-The organizer will then provide the era of music for the next event to help us prepare.
