Welcome to DMV Nerdettes!
DMV Nerdettes is a social community for women in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area who love all things nerdy, geeky, creative, and curious.
Whether you’re into anime, gaming, sci-fi, fantasy, comics, technology, cosplay, museums, history, books, K-dramas, conventions, tabletop games, or simply enjoy learning new things, this group is a space to meet like-minded women and build genuine friendships.
Our events may include:

• Comic conventions and cosplay events
• Trivia nights, escape rooms, and themed experiences
• Book, manga, and fandom discussions

You do not have to be an expert in any fandom to join. There are no geek tests, no gatekeeping, and no pressure to “prove” that you belong. Casual fans, lifelong nerds, introverts, extroverts, and everyone in between are welcome.
Our goal is to create a fun, respectful, inclusive community where women can share their interests, try new experiences, and form real connections throughout the DMV.
