What we’re about
This is a club where people in the DMV queer community interested in reading books they can better relate to are able to meet up, discuss sapphic and queer literature, and make new friends. It’s hard meeting people in the community while in your 20’s and 30’s, so this club is meant to help connect all of us. Anyone is welcome! While the books we will be reading will likely be more sapphic, the club will be open to various books suggested by members. We will be meeting in different book stores and coffees shops around the DMV, all of which will be easily accessible by metro and bus. While this is mainly a book club, there will also be events/activities members can attend together - such as concerts, museum exhibits, walks, and more! Group will launch once there are enough members. Meeting locations may be suggested. Look forward to meeting all of you!
