Please join us on a spooky tour through the haunted streets of Alexandria and listen to some of the town’s most frightening tales from beyond the grave including a burning bride, fallen Union soldiers, and even a devil-bat. People can begin arriving at the Alexandrian/King & Rye in Old Town Alexandria at 7: 00 to have a few drinks before the official tour begins at 7: 30. The tour itself will last about an hour and a half and we will be visiting 7 spots, each with their own story, all within the same area. We will conclude our journey at one of the most haunted bars in the area, Union Street Public House:

Below are our 7 stops:

The Alexandrian
City Hall/Gadsby’s Tavern
Carlyle House
Ramsey Alley/Schafer House
Swope House/Athenaeum
Captain’s Row (Prince St.)
Union Street Public House

This is a free event, but will be limited to about 20-30 people. The guide will be wearing a colonial-era costume with a tricorn hat. Feel free to wear your own costumes too!
