Join Sol Jung, curator of Japanese art at the National Museum of Asian Art, for an exclusive tour of historic tea objects that tell a story of exchange across Asia. She will provide an exclusive tour of Reasons to Gather: Japanese Tea Practice Unwrapped.

This exhibition presents eleven historic tea utensils and accessories that accumulated significance over generations of use at tea gatherings. You will see lovely ceramics, hanging scrolls, boxes, and wrapping cloths.

This is a no frills and low-pressure activity. Drop in if you can!
