Anticapitalist Writing Workshop: Manifestos

The Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America's Washington Socialist and After The Storm are partnering for a hands-on writing workshop on Sunday, August 25, from 2-4pm at Sudhouse DC.

Manifestos
We need to bring a new world into being. Writing, fiction or nonfiction, to share our visions for a collective way forward is one way we can start. Come to our socialist writing workshop and join comrades in writing manifestos with collaborative exercises and discussion about socialist imaginaries.

Format
This workshop is capped at 30 people to ensure everyone has space in the venue to write comfortably. There will be a facilitator, some individual writing time, and time to share in pairs or small groups.

If you sign up but can no longer attend, please cancel so your spot can go to someone else. Once this event reaches capacity, a waitlist will open automatically.

Event Policy
After The Storm events are all-inclusive spaces for folks to meet new people, socialize, and support each other with care and curiosity. This particular event is open to the public. If any member is made to feel uncomfortable by someone else in attendance, please approach After The Storm and we will ask them to leave. We do not tolerate any kind of harassment or abuse.
