Found Poetry Writing Workshop

After The Storm is partnering with Bol Coop for a writing workshop on Wednesday, December 17th 2025, from 6:00-7:30pm at Bol's new store in Brookland.

Found Poetry
A type of poetry created by borrowing and re-arranging words and phrases from existing sources, we will explore found poetry as a means of intentionally browsing Bol's book collection and co-creating something new together.

Format
This workshop is capped at 18 people to ensure everyone has space in the venue to write and move comfortably. If you sign up but can no longer attend, please cancel so your spot can go to someone else. Once this event reaches capacity, a waitlist will open automatically.

We will have writing materials available like pens and paper, as well as several chairs and cushions for floor seating. If you have your own preferred writing utensils, please bring them along with water, snacks, and optionally your cozy comfort(s) of choice (e.g. blanket, cushion)!

Event Policy
After The Storm events are all-inclusive spaces for folks to meet new people, socialize, and support each other with care and curiosity. This particular event is open to the public. If any member is made to feel uncomfortable by someone else in attendance, please approach After The Storm and we will have a conversation with them. If appropriate, we will ask them to leave. We do not tolerate any kind of harassment or abuse.
