In this workshop, You will learn a method that can help You to strengthen Your access to Your creativity, write more, write better and get back into a flow state in which new ideas emerge.

##### HOURGLASS METHOD

Lena will guide You through the three phases of her hourglass method, which consist of different writing exercises, and explain the background to them.
You will use pen, paper and Your words as tools, but You don't have to be a poet to have fun and benefit from the workshop :)

##### APPLICATION OF THE METHOD:

The method can also be used on Your own at home after the workshop, whenever You need a creative jump-start.

##### SETTING:

The small group setting as a safe space also allows You to share your thoughts with others.
‍

You'll learn techniques to:

• Tap into Your Inner creativity.
• Overcome self-doubt and fear.
• Express Yourself authentically and confidently.
• Cultivate a sense of purpose in Your art and communication.

##### ABOUT LENA HOHL:

‍
Lena is a writer and a creative who expresses herself through words and her voice. After spending most of her life trying to fit in and conform, she rediscovered her innate passion for writing. It all started with a diary; now she is finishing her second book and working on a series script with a co-author. Lena loves stepping out of her comfort zone and trying new things. In addition to stories and essays, she writes and performs rap songs and has recently started working as a freelance writer.
She has also completed certified training in storytelling and author consulting. In her Hourglass Method, Lena combines knowledge from her education and interest in creative processes in the brain with ideas based on her own experience as an artist. Her goal is to help and inspire people to radically be themselves and fully unleash their creativity.

Born from the belief that art doesn’t need to be polished to be powerful, it is a space where expression comes before perfection. Through paint, texture, and experimentation, we embrace the chaos of creating, allowing emotions to lead the way. We started "Still Messy" as a way to share the healing, freedom, and joy that comes from making art without judgment, a space we once needed ourselves.

##### FOUNDERS:

‍Simran Kaushal - A Graphic Designer and artist with a deep love for creativity in all its forms. Born and raised in Dubai, I’ve been painting since secondary school, when art first became my emotional outlet and way of processing the world. My creative path took me from fashion design to graphic design, eventually leading me to Berlin, where I found the perfect space to explore raw expression and visual storytelling. As a visual artist and acrylic painter, my work is layered with emotion, bold colors, and textured narratives that explore identity and human depth. I’ve exhibited my work at Mein Haus am See (Berlin), Venice International Art Fair 2025, and Lite-HAUS Galerie. The milestones that shaped my commitment to honest, expressive art.With roots in both fashion and graphic design, I blend traditional painting with digital design to create visuals that move, speak, and connect. The Still Messy workshop is a project close to my heart. It reflects the beauty of being unfinished, imperfect, and emotionally real just like the creative process itself.
Sreeja Revur - A passionate Product Designer at Delivery Hero, with a focus on optimizing the restaurant-to-customer journey through thoughtful, user-centric design. I work on the vendor side of the food delivery experience, creating intuitive digital solutions that help restaurants thrive and customers enjoy a seamless experience.Design, for me, is all about impact - making everyday interactions smoother, smarter, and more human.Outside of work, I connect deeply with art. Whether it’s sketching, painting, or experimenting with creative expression, I see art as a way to process emotions and explore the subconscious. I believe creativity can be a powerful tool for healing, reflection, and self-discovery.
