D&D / Dragonlance campaign (TABLE FULL)

SCHEDULE:
Wednesdays 6pm to 9pm central time (weekly sessions) -- Online / Virtual

DETAILS:
Fellow adventurers! Issuing an open call to a new D&D game in the world of Dragonlance – the medieval, post-apocalyptic Age of Despair, where “steel and might are more useful than gold and knowledge”. The campaign flavor is gritty epic fantasy, highly story-driven, where character development and roleplaying have as much impact as combat.

I’m Justin Henderson and will DM. I have a rich campaign concept prepared. The first act is loosely based on the “Shadow of the Dragon Queen” module… and where we go from there? It’s 90% based on choices the party makes. My philosophy is very much about Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey” arc – with moral complexity, where both light and darkness are inevitable, and saving the whole world is just one of many optional paths.

My thoughts are we start the game online while we get to know each other better. Then consider moving to in-person (rolling actual dice!!) if desired by all. You're welcome to direct message me if you’re interested and/or with any questions!

TECH:
We'll play over Zoom and use D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/). If you haven't used it before, a basic account is free. And I own all the key sourcebooks and can share them -- so you don't have to buy anything. We'll also setup a Discord server for communication between sessions.
