The Matriarch of a harbor town knows that tonight, something evil and powerful will come to kill her Heir. If the Heir lives, that enemy's power will be broken. If he dies, the delicate peace she’s built on the wrong side of the docks will crumble into violence and chaos. So the Matriarch has decided to hire a party of capable adventurers with a simple directive: "My Heir lives until morning."... But nothing is ever that simple, and nothing is as it seems. Do you think you can survive the night?

Background: Your party has been hired by a well known Matriarch, Magrath Fletcher also known as “the Red Sky.” She knows that something bad could happen to her heir tonight so she has hired your team to prevent it. Keep her heir alive until the morning and the party will recieve a very genrous payout... help her figure out who ordered the hit and that payout could be doubled! Do you have what it takes?

Prep: please create a level 4 character. If you need help to make a character, I’m more than happy to help. All standard classes/races are okay. When creating your characters, please use 'standard array'. If you have any questions please let me know. Please also send your character sheet by the day of by message here on Meetup.

What do I need to bring ?
- Your character sheet printed or a digital version of it (tablet, D&D Beyond etc)
- Something to take notes
- If you don't have dice your DM can lend you some
- Your best role play efforts!
- Be prepared to purchase food and/or drink. As this event is happening at a private buisness, please respect their rules and not bring any outside food or drink to consume, and be prepared to purchase something.

Please join ONLY if you have already attended one of our own intro to D&D session OR if you have already played D&D before. This event is open to beginners but is not an intro to D&D and you will have to know how to play, your DM will be able to help you with specific rules if needed during the session.
