Our story begins in the offices of Adventure Staffing Solutions, the multiverse’s premier temporary adventuring agency. You, a down and out adventurer, have come here as a method of last resort for some quick cash. You and your fellow party members have never met before, but there is one thing you know for sure, they are just as desperate as you are or they wouldn't be looking for temporary adventuring work.
Welcome to Port Fourchon. Set between a fetid swamp and a harsh coastline is Port Fourchon, a grizzled coastal town on the Sword Coast. The air is a heady cocktail of salt-brine and earthy decay, as buildings, gnarled and weary, huddle close, bearing the scars of countless sea storms. Tattered sails haunt the distant waves, whispering tales of pirates, ancient relics, and monstrous sea beasts. Here, in this realm of shadows and secrets, the line between land and water blurs, beckoning you into a saga where survival is as treacherous as the swamps and seas themselves.
