This one's personal for me :) I'm so excited to share this with you!

Archery was one of those "I've always wanted to try that" things I kept saying for years until one day I just signed up. I had zero experience. I just wanted to see what would happen if I tried something that required patience...because patience was not my strong suite. I decided to move towards patience and try and understand it through archery.

So over time I discovered, it built something in me I didn't know I was missing: real confidence, focus (yes through frustration at times) and a kind of quiet strength.
Honestly, it's become one of the sports people ask me about the most: "Where do you do that? When's the next one?" I make time for it because it's grown into such a beautiful part of who I am now. It's been 100% part of my healing journey, in a really good way.
That's what this night is about. Not becoming a pro, just showing up for something you've been wanting to try or haven't done it in forever and you want to brush up your skills again.

Why archery:

  • It forces you into the present, you cannot think about your inbox or your ex while you're aiming. It's one of the most effective ways to quiet a loud mind.
  • It teaches patience with yourself. everyone misses at first. Watching yourself improve, shot by shot, rebuilds self-trust in a way that carries into everything else.
  • It's steady, not chaotic. no adrenaline dump, no falling. Just focus, breath, release. Great for anyone who wants to feel capable again without needing to feel fearless first.
  • It's deceptively confidence-building. hitting a target you didn't think you could hit hits different. It's proof, not just a pep talk.

How the night goes:

  • 6:30–8:00 PM — Lesson with an instructor. Beginners welcome, men and women welcome, zero experience needed. Group size is kept small (5–10 people) so everyone actually gets attention and reps.
  • 8:00–8:30 PM — Gather, snack, and talk. Snacks and drinks provided, free of charge. We'll hang out and share how it went, what surprised you, what you learned about yourself.

Good to know:

  • $45 per person (snacks and drinks included, no extra cost)
  • Total beginners welcome — no gear, no experience, no problem
  • Small group (min 5, max 10) so it stays personal
  • Wear flat shoes - running shoes preferred. No sandals, heels, or open-toe shoes.

If you've been saying "I've always wanted to try archery" this is your night. Come do it afraid with us. 🏹
