What we’re about

If you love food, you’ll love this group! Our plan is to take your palate on a trip around the world. We aim to create a fun atmosphere full of lively conversations surrounded by great people and amazing food. We want everyone to feel welcomed!

We visit restaurants of all types— fine dining to holes in the wall. While we love our large events, attendee limits are based on what restaurants can accommodate.

So gather around and let the good times roll ⚜️

But first…. a couple of guidelines (you didn’t think we’d be rule free, did ya?)

  • A clear picture of yourself is requested in order to join this group.
  • Because of the nature of this group, we make reservations at all restaurants. Please RSVP to events you will attend and keep that RSVP updated at all times.
  • If an event is full, add yourself to the waitlist. If RSVPed members can’t come to that event, members on the waitlist will be moved to “going”. *Preference will be given to those who expressed their ability to come to an event should a spot open up.*
  • No-shows are not tolerated. It’s disrespectful to the organizers, members on the waitlist, and to the restaurants that have a reserved a spot for you. No-shows = no longer a member of the group. If something comes up last minute, message the event host to let them know you can’t come. ***Changing your RSVP after final attendee number has been given to a restaurant is a no-show.***
  • Read event descriptions as they may contain pertinent information from the restaurants or the event hosts.
  • While some of our members may be single, this is not a singles group. Do not contact other members with the intent of flirting, dating or meeting up outside of group events. It creates an uncomfortable situation and deters members from coming to events. Come out to an event, strike up a conversation and try doing it the old fashioned way.

If you have suggestions for restaurants, festivals or anything you’d for us to try, please use the “discussion” feature in the group or send a message to the co-organizers— we’d love to hear from you!
