Susan Doll has organized this free screening at Transistor, and says:

The doc is part of a DVD series that Facets is releasing that I am in charge of. The series spotlights Chicago documentary filmmaking of the 1960s-1980s. It's an unsung era of doc history that was very instrumental but never acknowledged. I will talk a little about that, and a little about the film I am showing, MAXWELL STREET BLUES, about the old blues guys from the tail end of the Maxwell Street era. Come if you can make it; I would greatly appreciate the support.
