Join us in celebrating the Docker Project's 4th birthday!

We are proud to present a talk about Docker in production at LEGO.

In addition, we will provide Docker labs and courses to learn about Docker in an informal way. Are you an advanced user? We strongly encourage Docker users of all skill levels to attend! We need a network of mentors who understand the Docker platform to answer any questions that attendees working through the courses and labs may have. We also have some fun projects you can work on. Agenda:

17.00: Welcome.

17:15: Kresten Kjær: Docker in production at LEGO - How an enterprise changes its service model. This talk is about "Day 2 operations", that is; what to think of when you run production workloads. Which services can be run in Docker, what are the advantages, and what to be aware of. Topics include setting up microservices, databases, load balancers, choosing file systems, logging, and overall monitoring.

18:00: Self-paced Lab and Course session Bring your own computer and work through practical Docker exercises with the help of mentors - whether you are new to Docker or already have experience.

19:30: Cake and socializing

As we get closer to the event, we will share more information including materials on how to prepare for the courses and labs that will be available.

There will be sandwiches and drinks.
