Abstract:
Magnum is an Openstack project which offers container orchestration engines, such as Docker swarm, Kubernetes and Mesos, for deploying and managing containers as first class resources in OpenStack.
In this talk, we'll hear Adrian talk about how Openstack operators can bring container deployment services to their customers, how Magnum integrates with the rest of Openstack, what Magnum does and much, much more.

Speaker Bio:
Adrian is a Distinguished Architect at Rackspace, after a successful career as a serial entrepreneur. He has over 20 years of experience in technology leadership. He served as the founding PTL for both the OpenStack Solum and OpenStack Magnum projects, and founded the OpenStack Containers Team. He believes that a rich ecosystem of open source projects is a key to cloud technology adoption. He has spent his recent years working extensively in collaborative pursuits that organize numerous companies to agree and work together.
