Hackages (hackages.io) is hosting us at their community space in Brussels.
This meetup is part of the "Road to FOSDEM" (#roadtoFOSDEM), a selection of meetups leading up to the FOSDEM conference in Brussels, organized by Microsoft the Netherlands and Belgium.
All sessions will have a focus on open source.

Marcos is a Docker Captain, OSS lover, helmsman, and wine drinker. He won two Docker global hackathons with his projects Whaleprint and Container Migration Tool. He also co-created “Play-with-docker” and "Play-withk8s" and other OSS projects. He is currently Head of Operations at ZEIT, the best platform to host static and dynamic workloads.
Marcos would like to take this opportunity to showcase a project which will bring us back to one of the core principles of Docker, to “Create tools for mass innovation". If you're passionate about technology and you like to tinker with container-related things, this talk is definitely not to be missed!

Taylor Thomas (@_oftaylor) is a Senior Software Engineer working on Helm and other open-source tooling at Microsoft. He has been involved with containers and Kubernetes platforms at Intel, Nike, and Microsoft and is one of the core maintainers of Helm.
Taylor will give an overview of the work Microsoft has been doing in the open-source Cloud Native area, with deep dives where the audience requests.
