Keeping up with the Docker Platform
## Abstract
The latest releases of the Docker Platform come with a ton of great features. Each new version makes it easier to deploy and scale your applications!
First, we will do an overview of the most recent changes in Docker Engine, Compose, Swarm, and Machine. They include: security improvements, new network features as well as integration of multi-host networking in Swarm and Compose, a new Compose file format, faster image transfers, experimental high availability in Swarm clusters, and more.
Then, Jérôme will show us some "staff picks" of his favorite features, including (but not limited to) demos of:- multi-host networking,- logging drivers,- traffic load balancing in Swarm clusters ...
## Bio
Jerome works at Docker, where he helps others to containerize all the things. He was part of the team that built, scaled, and operated the dotCloud PAAS, before it became Docker. When annoyed he threatens to replace things with a very small shell script.
