Presentation:
Title: Patterns and Antipatterns in Docker Image Lifecycle
Baruch Sadogursky
New tools often introduce new paradigms. We will examine the patterns and the antipatterns for Docker image management, and what impact the new tools have on the battle-proven paradigms of the software development lifecycle.

Title: A lap around Azure containers
Rags Srinivas
Microsoft Azure can be used for container deployment in a variety of ways including support for Orchestrators like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm and Mesos. It can also be deployed in other simpler forms which still support application self-healing, scaling and so on.
In this primarily demo-driven session, we will cover container deployments on Azure with some simple examples. We will look at options where the Microsoft Azure framework is responsible for the hiding the complexity of the container orchestrators and the user is only concerned about spinning up container instances OR the user can deploy container instances inside orchestrators in a customized manner, if needed.
After attending this session, attendees will be able to walk away with choices for deployment of containers on Microsoft Azure, the implications of the different approaches and what approaches might work for their own solutions.
