Docker Monthly Meetup - March

Welcome back to our meetup for March!

For the talk this month we have Dylan Scott from Senseye talking about how to run service discovery using Consul on top of a managed Kubernetes service and the benefits using these two systems together in harmony provide.

The presentation will cover deployment of a managed Kubernetes cluster using Terraform and DigitalOcean. Once the cluster is in place we will talk about how to install useful components such as the Kubernetes Dashboard and a Consul Cluster running as a StatefulSet. Finally with all of this in place we will deploy a demo app leveraging service discovery using NodeJS
