Using Docker in a Microservice Architecture

Details
Hi Docker Users,
We have a great meet-up planned for Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the InNevation Center at 6:30 pm.
We are fortunate to have Michael McFall, CTO of Las Vegas based CloudMode, is going to be discussing how to build a micro-service architecture using Docker and Kafka and it’s companion Zookeeper. Kafka is a durable event log that is ideally suited to being the backbone of a state of the art micro-service implementation. However, implementing Kafka in a Docker environment can be challenging. He will discuss what available platforms and tools you will need in order to implement statically configured services like Kafka and Zookeeper in the dynamic environment of Docker. Cloudmode has had to solve some core computing science problems, beginning by moving to semantic storage instead of hierarchical file systems. The result is a whole new model of computing, built around a micro-service architecture.
Please plan on joining us , bring you associates and friends and RSVP for this event so we can have enough refreshment and Pizza for all.
This will be a excellent presentation on the uses of Docker and the advances of the Docker Ecosystem.
Look forward to seeing everyone Tuesday evening, September 20th.
