Talk Title :: Docker Container Application Security Deep Dive
A continuous integration and delivery pipeline for Docker containers can produce a large number of images. Over time, inflow into production can pose a challenge in assuring the source of an image, its integrity, and the security of its application components. We will discuss how to integrate compliance and security checks into your pipeline and how to produce a secure, verifiable image. We will also show how to trace production images back to their source, controlling out-of-band changes, and preventing the running of stale or non-compliant containers.
Beyond image assurance, we will discuss securing containers at runtime, and how to promote adherence to "In-Scope" compliance requirements when running applications in containers.

Speaker 2 :: Claus Matzinger (https://de.linkedin.com/in/clmat), Crate.io
A software engineer by trade, Claus Matzinger runs field engineering at Crate.io, entertains several Raspberry Pis, and actively maintains Rust drivers for all sorts of sensors. He loves connecting with developers to talk about putting machine data to work in exciting IoT systems.
Talk Title :: Open Machine Data Analysis Stack with Docker, CrateDB, and Grafana
Predictive analytics, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 - everybody has heard them at least once, but what do real installations look like? How can containerized Microservices help deployment and increase productivity? Claus from Crate.io will answer any and all of these questions and show real world examples with a stack based on Raspberry Pis, Grafana, Docker, and Rust.
