Workshop Details
This Docker 101 workshop is designed to get you up and running with containers! You'll learn how to build images, run containers, use volumes to persist data and mount in source code, and define your application using Docker Compose. We'll even mix in a few advanced topics, such as networking and image building best-practices. There is definitely something for everyone.
Suggested Audience
This workshop is recommended for developers and others who are interested in learning about Docker and containers.
Difficulty
Beginners & Intermediate. Advanced users are welcome - see below for an opportunity to mentor!
What to bring
For this workshop, you will need to bring your own laptop and power cord. No need to download anything before. This workshop is run on Play with Docker, a Docker playground which allows users to run Docker commands in seconds entirely in your browser.
