This meetup is focused on deploying pipelines | environments & managing web apps with Docker

We'll have 2 speakers:

Deploying Frontend web applications with containers - Jose Moreira | Senior

Software Engineer @ Container Solutions

Deploying containerized client-side web applications requires a different configuration strategy compared to system applications. The runtime of client-side web applications is the client-side web browser and, unlike other applications which can utilize environment values, configuration has to be hard-coded in the Javascript source code. Jose will cover Docker and Kubernetes best practices for deploying configurable web apps.

Intranet Spawner Application - Bryan te Beek | lead DevOps Engineer @ Lifely

Creating separate environments of the same application for a bunch of different companies should be no manual task. At all Lifely projects, Bryan designs and creates the infrastructure pipeline, where every next project is a little cleaner than the previous one. In a specifically cool ops project he introduced the “intranet spawner ”, a web application/continuous deployment platform that autonomously spawns new boxes, hooks up dns records, provisions required docker images and puts resellers in control of the created environments, straight from a custom web interface.

Drinks, food and the room are sponsored and provided by Lifely (lifely.nl)
