Getting Started with Kubernetes

Abstract: Kubernetes is the king of container orchestration and the results are clear: more than ever, employers are looking for IT professionals that know Kubernetes. It can, however, be hard to get started with Kubernetes because it is not trivial software. For the Feb meetup, we'll help you get started with Kubernetes as we break down into bite size chunks so you can get a jump start on your Kubernetes experience.

Make sure to come at 6:30 to get an intro to docker-compose. If you've not used docker-compose before, it's a great tool that helps you manage containers for your local development environment. It's also a good starting point for understanding production grade orchestration tools like Swarm and Kubernetes.
