Kubernetes is an open source tool for orchestrating and managing containerized applications. It is built for a multi-cloud world, public, private, or even hybrid. So you can easily run it on Azure, AWS, Google Container Engine, OpenStack/HPCloud, IBM, Red Hat/OpenShift v3, DigitalOcean, Mesos, Vmware, KVM, Vagrant, or even on bare-metals. You may got some basic ideas about Pods, Services, Labels, Minions (Nodes), and Replication Controllers for Kubernetes and also see how easy we can manage and schedule dockers in a new way. Get ready to scale your dockerized apps and have fun!

Kubernetes是一個開放平台工具能讓你用來管理以及架構一個container化的應用程式. 它更大的好處是能在各種環境使用, 包括各種雲端, 例如公有雲, 私有雲, 甚至是混合雲都可以. 所以只要學習一套指令, 可以在以下各家雲端或本地虛擬主機或是實體機都能運行, 其中包括Azure, AWS, Google Container Engine, OpenStack/HPCloud, IBM, Red Hat/OpenShift v3, DigitalOcean, Mesos等. 虛擬主機包括 VirtualBox, Vmware, KVM, 用Vagrant等. 您可以在這堂課學習到Kubernetes 的一些基本概念, 比如說什麼是 Pods, Services, Labels, Minions (Nodes), 還有Replication Controllers 等專有名詞. 當然也可看到用它來管理與排程大量dockers的新方法. 準備好你的docker化的應用程式, 來學習如何大量運行你的程式吧.
