During the week of March 23rd, the docker community will be hosting over a dozen open-source-a-thon parties around the world. At these parties the Docker core team and expert developers from the broader open source community will teach and guide participants on how to contribute.

Docker Introduction / Evgeny Zislis• Learn about Docker and the basic principles of how it works. You will learn how to run Linux containers and create Docker images to give your infrastructure more portability and faster provisioning.
• Evgeny is the co-founder of Devops Israel (https://www.devops.co.il/), and has been helping developers and companies configure their Linux servers for over a dozen of years.

Docker Stories / Everyone
• Learn from the experience of others about how Docker is currently used, what are the benefits and limitations compared to other solutions.

This is an open discussion session where we will be calling people, which would like to share their story, to the stage. Please prepare a short talk, up to 10 minutes. No slides are needed.
