WIFV/Docs In Progress Documentary Roundtable: Filmmaker Support Group

This program, usually held on the second Monday of every month builds on WIFV’s existing Documentary Roundtable speaker series and Docs In Progress’ filmmaker meet-up/support group formerly known as Documingles. The meetings switch off between DC and Silver Spring

All Documentary Roundtable meetings are FREE and you do NOT need to be a WIFV member, Docs Insider, or alum of Docs In Progress to participate. This is a great way to get to know others in the DC-area documentary filmmaking community, build your network and know-how, and find out about other offerings of these two organizations.

So What’s Happening This Month?

The July meeting is facilitated by Docs In Progress alums Simone Fary and Richard Hall. As an antidote to the documentary filmmaker working in isolation, it’s a brainstorming, networking, and support group all wrapped up in one. This is an opportunity to meet others in the documentary community and share latest successes, challenges, and tips on documentary filmmaking.
