1st Berlin Doc 48-hour Film Sprint
Details
We're happy to announce the first Berlin Doc 48-hour Film Sprint, which will take off in the evening of Friday, November 21st at 7:00 p.m. in Beetroot.
To make it short an sweet here's some info and next-steps so you can start preparing:
So what is this again?
This is a 48-hour documentary film sprint. The idea is to form teams to create a short documentary film in 48 hours.
That sounds great! And when is this happening?
We'll kick off the Sprint in the evening of Friday, November 21st, with a general info and mingle session and end with a screening in the evening of Sunday, November 23rd, which will take place at 6:00 p.m. in Space Meduza.
OK… but, do we have to do everything in 48 hours, or can we prepare in advance?
It's up to your team to decide how much preparation you would like to do before the 21st. However, the idea is to put your imagination, your talent and your skills to the test and get the bulk of the work done during the 48-hour Sprint. You can always continue working on your short doc afterwards if you want, but you need to have a rough cut ready for the screening on Sunday evening.
Sounds fair, I'm in! What do I have to do?
– For starters, sign-up using this form.
– Join our Telegram Group to stay up-to-date with the preparations for the Sprint.
– If you already have a project or even a vague idea of something you would like to do, you can add it here (if you have more than one idea, enter them separately).
– If you don't have a project idea of your own, you can check the sheet regularly and join a team.
– Every week (at least), we'll inform you of new projects looking for a team via email or in the group.
Great that seems easy enough. Anything else?
That's it. If you know of somebody else who might be interested, forward this email and encourage them to sign up using this form!
Thank you again for your interest. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Liebe Gruße,
