What if your family photos could tell a new story?
We’re so happy to announce The Story Behind 's first workshop "Documentary photography 101: using your family photos to tell a story" created by @salima.hamrini and made possible with the support of redleavesfilms and funding from the Stiftung für Kulturelle Weiterbildung und Kulturberatung.
📸 Over five days, young adults (18–27) will:
- Use their family archives: old photos, letters, voices, objects as creative material
- Learn the basics of storytelling through photography
- Craft a handmade photobook that holds their personal story
This is for anyone navigating life between languages, cultures, and the quiet space between “here” and “home.”
No experience needed. Just your story, your presence, and a willingness to see it differently.
