This lesson we will read an article and discuss it. It will help you practice your English discussion skills and meet some new friends. The lesson will be given in English by a native speaker. It is for Intermediate to Advanced English Speakers. The article will be about 500 words long and it will be either an interesting topic or current events. Goals: Improve discussion skills Learn common phrases used in interesting articles Practice discussion Lesson: 1 hour Learn new vocabulary (10 minutes) Discussion before reading article (20 minutes) Read an article ~500 words discussing an interesting topic (5 minutes) Discuss Article (20 minutes) Questions and Wrap-up (5 minutes) The lesson will cost 1000¥. You also should buy a drink or something to eat at Komeda. Due to the size of Komeda's tables, this lesson is strictly limited to 6 people. So please only RSVP if you can make it. This meetup is organized by Mark Kuczmarski from Cleveland, Ohio in the United States. He currently works as a software developer in Tokyo. He has a Bachelors from Miami University with a double Major in Software Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked in consulting in Silicon Valley at a large biomedical corporation. He has a passion for teaching and helping others achieve their goals.
