Pack your picnic blanket, lunch, and your pup’s favorite treats, it’s time for a relaxing afternoon of fresh air, furry friends, and fun!
Join Dog Days Connection at Mud Creek Park in Patchogue on Sunday, August 17, from 12:30–1:30 PM for a dog-friendly picnic where you and your pet can unwind, mingle, and soak up the summer vibes.
Whether you’re looking to meet other pet parents, give your pup some social time, or to enjoy a peaceful lunch outdoors, this is the pawfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon!
What to Bring:
- A blanket or lawn chair
- Your lunch, snacks, and drinks (please remember to dispose of your trash when you leave!)
- Fresh water for your pet and a water bowl
- Poop bags (let’s keep the park clean!)
- Towels or wipes for post-play cleanup
Before you RSVP:
Mud Creek has no amenities: no bathrooms, no poop bag stations, or water fountains. Please plan accordingly!
Since Mud Creek has a natural border, there are no completely fenced-in areas. For you and your dogs safety, only bring your dog if they are well-socialized with other dogs and can go off-leash.
Parking is on the street, so please do not let your dog off-leash until you’ve entered through the front gate.
How to find us:
We will meet on the beach, and you can find us with a sign that reads "Canine Connection."
*In the event of inclement or extremely hot weather, please check Meetup or our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on any weather-related changes by 10 AM Sunday.*
So bring your appetite and pup for a tail-wagging day of fun, we can't wait to see you there!
